Is one of these 4 Senators yours?

Call or write these Senators now to keep the pressure on them to vote yes on the public option

Senator Lieberman - (202) 224-4041 (860) 549-8463 (800) 225-5605
Senator Nelson - (202) 224-6551 (402) 391-3411 (402) 441-4600
Senator Landreau - (202) 224-5824 (504) 589-2427
Senator Lincoln - (202) 224-4843 (501) 375-2993

1. Lincoln will not vote for public option. She belongs to Wellpointe, that gave her over $325,000.

3. If she's your Senator, call her anyway.
Tell her you're aware that she's compromised by her relationship with Wellpointe, and that if she sacrifices you for their interests, you will do everything within your power to see that she's defeated in her next election.

If she gets enough calls from people with this message, it will make a difference. She can't do herself (or Wellpointe) much good if she loses her seat. (And she deserves to lose her seat, like so many others.)

4. I don't care if she votes for it as long as she doesn't keep bill from an up or down vote on the
floor.

5. Lieberman will not support a filibuster, but is leaning against the public option
at this time.

6. Lieberman says he may filibuster Health Care Reform.

http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2009/10/lieberman-sure-id-filibuster-a-health-care-reform-bill.php?ref=fpblg

"I told Senator Reid that I'm strongly inclined--i haven't totally decided, but I'm strongly inclined--to vote to proceed to the health care debate, even though I don't support the bill that he's bringing together because it's important that we start the debate on health care reform because I want to vote for health care reform this year. But I also told him that if the bill remains what it is now, I will not be able to support a cloture motion before final passage. Therefore I will try to stop the passage of the bill."

- Joe Lieberman

7. I have Bob Casey and Arlen Specter
Two men who will do whatever the administration tells them to do.

1 because he likes playing basketball with the President the other because Joe Sestak is challenging him in a primary.

That being said, I view the mandate issue more important than the public option.

9. The mandate and public option are linked issues.
Whether people will be forced to buy private health insurance.

12. Most people will be forced into the private market
The "robust" public option is not on the table...now we are just talking public option.
