5. His quoting the Bible is what is obnoxious, hypocritical and nothing but a ploy.

7. What Bible verse will he quote as he escalates his war?
His speeches drip with Biblical verse.

What verse do you suggest he use in his speech to our nation when he steps up his war?

12. Haven't you heard? Jesus is worshipped by warmongering, bigoted bullies nowadays ro
along with some nice Christians, but they aren't as loud. Most Christians I know are 100% pro-war and quite hateful.

14. Yeah but, Jesus died for our sins, so we're forgiven no matter how WRONG we get this.
You'll be forgiven even as some nascent terrorist makes good on an as yet latent plan to make your life a living hell.

22. He died 'because' of them. Not 'for' them.
The translators got it wrong.

The translators also misconstrued the selfishness and greed of the people running Sodom and Gomorrah into issues of a sexual nature.

25. Thanks for the info. BIG difference that! and yet it's sooooo common to hear "for".
And yeah, perhaps the original words describing S & G had something to do with perversion, which selfishness and greed are, so translators mistook them for sexual references.

What's the chapter and verse, again, that you're referring to?

Dimond, Rubin, Thane and the rest....

Let's throw in all the rest who haven't been prosecuted...but rewarded for "changing money in the temple."

AYYYYYYYY But, then only Christians might care about this...

Still there are others who must follow some humanitarian code of ethics who are appalled. But, then...there's only cynical/flipancy out there today. So many Reality Show watchers who think life is just TEE VEE. Who Cares. :sarcasm: Libertarians/Randians/Atheists and folks who don't give a shit about anything but themselves fall into the "Other."
