Watergate redux: Break-ins reported at another climate research center

These thugs are getting brazen in their attempts.

Burglars and hackers have attacked the Canadian Centre for Climate Modelling and Analysis at the University of Victoria in British Columbia, apparently in an attempt to further the “Climategate” intimidation of global warming researchers. The Climategate smear campaign rests on the release of thousands of emails illegally hacked last month from the British Climatic Research Unit (CRU). The National Post reports that the Centre for Climate Modelling, a government institution, is also the victim of repeated criminal attacks

Why aren't these people who have hacked and broken into these places being arrested for breaking and entering?

The current Prime Minister of Canada is a big proponent of oil from tar sands. In order to exploit this resource, man-made global warming must be discredited.

Don't hold your breath waiting for the perps to be prosecuted.

Exxon/Mobil and the rest can afford the best of the best spook talent. This is an operation that by it's very nature cannot be hidden, but just like an iceburg, I am quite confident that the vast majority of the major oil players espionage, dirty tricks and wet work is never brought into the light.
