Erick Erickson has posted the addresses of Coakley phone banks at redstate.com.

From Erickson's diary:

Here is what I’m being told if any of you want to go by tomorrow and laugh:

Organizers are asking for volunteers to be at the IBEW address before 9 am to hear from Coakley and Vicki Kennedy tomorrow morning...

He then proceeds to list the various headquarters and meeting times.

It's pretty clear why he would do that, and it's not so all the redstaters can go "laugh" or volunteer to help Coakley GOTV.

The redstate denizens are taking the hint, and in the comments make various suggestions to show up and disrupt the phone banks. A couple of examples:

Thanks to DU'er Adelante, the Coakley Campaign had an early heads-up on this before it started.

Anyone in contact with the Coakley campaign?

1. Are they aware that people have gone to prison for interfering with phone banks?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2002_New_Hampshire_Senate_election_phone_jamming_scandal
The 2002 New Hampshire Senate election phone jamming scandal involves the use of a telemarketing firm hired by that state's Republican Party (NHGOP) for election tampering.

During that state's 2002 election for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Robert C. Smith, the NHGOP hired GOP Marketplace, based in Northern Virginia, to jam another phone bank being used by the state Democratic Party and the firefighters' union for efforts to turn out voters on behalf of then-governor Jeanne Shaheen on Election Day. John E. Sununu, the Republican candidate, won a narrow victory. In addition to criminal prosecutions, disclosures in the case have come from a civil suit filed by the state's Democratic Party against the state's Republican Party (now settled).

Four men have been convicted of, or pled guilty to, federal crimes and sentenced to prison for their involvement as of 2008.

8. I think it is time democrats stopped pussyfooting around and
took action against stuff like this. Arrest em, put em jail and go on to the next illegal action. With republicans there's gonna be a lot of them.

2. Have everybody patted down for guns at the door.
Edited on Sat Jan-16-10 08:36 PM by LoZoccolo
That might weed out some teabaggers.

Have the union bring TASERs and pepper spray beforehand, now you have an advantage should a confrontation erupt.

7. I just had an evil thought...
Doesn't PayPal charge a minimum fee to the recipient when someone else sends them money via PayPal? I wonder how it would work if we all PayPaled him a 25 cent donation. If they had a minimum fee of a dollar or two, we could really run up Brown's bill. If anyone here is a PayPal expert, I'd appreciate it if you make a post letting me know how well it work. It would be great to have every 25 cent donation we send to him cost him a dollar.

15. Note to legitimate phone bank volunteers: in the Midwest, we've often found
a pick handle to be a useful item to have in your possession as you enter and go about your volunteer duties. They are much more effective than brooms for getting trash out of your way.

Seriously, forget the pick handle: just take the attitude.
