Must-Read criticism on the role of "moderates"

and the meme that comes to town with these moderates (both parties).

The article focuses on Bayh's departure. But its general tenant goes further. I do not necessarilly agree with what is said, but even so I think it is worth your attention.

(Edit: I should probably add that centrism and moderation are not the same, and that my reservations against the article stem from the article's tendency to throw centrism and moderates in one category.)
