Coffee Party USA
It's just a facebook group (http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?topic=15383&post=107841&uid=304981108326#!/coffeeparty), for now... but it's growing.

They've set up a new web page (http://www.coffeepartyusa.com/), and are looking for members.

2. Looks like the server is down or was taken down. What is Drupal? The announcment
about the server is on a screen with a weird looking circle eyes-head. Creepy. Really creepy.

I like the idea of a Coffee Party. Great idea - especially anything-everything that reveals the truth side about the lie/distortion/hate side as brought to us by teabaggers.

4. Uh oh... The Coffee Party is a JOKE!
1) STOP using the term "teabagger", which is a pejorative term used by the media. It is not constructive for positive discourse and derails conversation with people we need to have the most effect with.

2) Related to 1, if a confrontation happens with people in the tea-party DO NOT belittle the person and look for positive ways of disagreement if there is one. "I respect your opinion", or "Thanks for your thoughts", or "We appreciate your input" ranked in order of level of disagreement (ranking is mine).

3) Stop posting negative stuff about prominent figures associated with the tea party movement (Palin, Beck, et.al.) because those kind of posts will be selectively used to characterize us as another polarizing movement (the antithesis of what we want).

4) If you are representing the coffee party movement, remember you are representing all of us. We are a movement that seeks to break the gridlock and this takes a conscious disciplined effort.
