New details emerge re Cantor’s camp office incident - shots outside office - occurred early in week
Edited on Thu Mar-25-10 12:59 PM by sabra

http://www2.dailyprogress.com/cdp/news/local/crime/article/shots_fired_outside_eric_cantors_campaign_office/54067/

Word of the gunfire near the Republican’s Richmond office comes a day after it was revealed that someone had cut a gas line to a propane grill at the home of the brother of U.S. Rep. Tom Perriello, D-Ivy.

“We do know that there were shots fired earlier this week,” said Megan Whittemore, Cantor’s deputy press secretary. The shots were fired late Monday or early Tuesday, she said.

The gunfire triggered the office’s alarm and an incident report was filed immediately. Richmond police are investigating.

“There is an ongoing investigation,” Whittemore said.

So the shots were near his office (no mention of hitting a window?) and happened early in the week and Cantor decides to announce this incident in a news conference attacking Dems for politicizing the incidents...

2. Just to be clear, Cantor claimed his window was shot out. Right?
That's his story, now let's see if it changes.

Gawd, I love the Internet. Imagine if we didn't have it. :scared:

6. yep - here's his quote from the press conference
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/virginiapolitics/2010/03/eric_cantor_accuses_democrats.html

<snip>

"I've received threats since I assumed elected office, not only because of my position but also because I'm Jewish. I've never blamed anyone in this body for that, period. Any suggestion that a leader in this body would incite threats or acts against other members is akin to saying that I would endanger myself, my wife or my children. Just recently I have been directly threatened. A bullet was shot through the window of my campaign office in Richmond this week, and I've received threatening e-mails. But I will not release them, because I believe such actions will only encourage more to be sent," he said.

15. Bushiganda isn't about "lying right" - Bushiganda is about laundering lies
into "conventional wisdom" and it doesn't matter if the lie is debunked 1000 times over - if nobody sees the debunking.

Corporate M$M will give Cantor's Lies equal credence and if they even mention the debuinkings, it will be in a way so minute that Cantor's Lies are still believed to be true by 99.9% of people.

Thus, as we have seen literally dozens, perhaps hundreds of times before, it's MISSION ACCOMPLISHED for the Bushiganda Op. The squid ink has been shot into the water, thanks to a compliant M$M, and it's now a "both sides do it" thing.

Sigh. If only the Bushies were even required to keep their lies straight in order to be successful.

But they aren't.

Watch and learn.

23. I applaud you for your actions, and do try it. Maybe I am wrong.
It is definitely worth a try, if only to see for yourself whether my assertions are true.

PM me and let me know how it turns out.

13. I call shenanigans
According to the Richmond Times Dispatch, Cantor's people can't even positively state exactly when the shot(s) was fired. As well, the article has Cantor's camp unsure as to whether or not the shot(s) was random or directed at his office.

http://www2.timesdispatch.com/rtd/news/state_regional/article/possible_shot_fired_at_office_building_of_cantor_consultant/332877/

My guess? The people in Cantor's Richmond office noticed a chip in their window and decided to call it Liberal terrorism.

16. Why would Richmond police
be investigating? Which by the way i cannot find a police report for. I also checked Henrico county which is where the campaign office location is listed. 4201 Dominion Blvd, #110 Glen Allen, VA 23060. If anyone has different info let me know.
