Here's the real question: Can Jack Conway beat Paul

I'm not from KY, but it looks to me as if that's a real possibility. If Conway can expose Paul for what he really is- and Paul seems willing to help him at that- I don't see why Conway couldn't win.

The greater output by the democrats during the Kentucky primary is hopeful, so is Rand's missteps. If he can keep hammering away maybe voters will remember that.

If you live in Kentucky get involved. Bus people, make phone calls. The difference because of the large republican base will all be in the effort of individuals trying to make a difference. Stand up, get a friend to stand up, have him get another.

I said I was only going to contribute to true, blue liberals, & I admint, I don't know Conway's position on issues, but he's got to be better than that fucking whacko Paul. I just sent him some $$.

4. Conway can win, but not if the appeal of Paul is underestimated.

IMO, Paul appeals to anti-government, anti-Obama, anti-almost everything voters across party lines. That's one factor.

The second is that McConnell is as canny as he is slimy; I have to think that he will work to elect and co-opt Paul one way or another to keep the R vote.

It all adds up to the need for a very strong Democratic effort in the next few months.

My message would be: stop laughing at Paul, send $$$ to the Conway campaign.
