I"m reminded of the movie "a time to kill" in regards to the BP oil disaster.
If you've seen the movie, Matthew Mcconahay (sp?) sums up his defense of his client by a long speech about how the black girl was beaten, raped, abused... and then he asks "What if she were white?"

Imagine you had a president that was in office during the largest oil disaster in history... Imagine for a whole month he allowed the oil company to hide data, to intentionally underestimate the impact, that employed the coast guard to block the press from the disaster in conjuction with the Oil company.
Imagine that that president started a commission to address the problem, IF it happens in the future, instead of dealing with the problem now.
Imagine that that president, one month before the disaster was pushing for MORE offshore drilling.

Now, Imagine that that president was George W. Bush.

wouldn't you be angry?

11. I got hosed on an internet deal.
Wrote all the content and then they offered me 10% on all the ad revenue I created. Rotten bastards.

Now I've got a little time as I put together the new site to bury the bastards.

Thought I'd spend some time on some other bastards in the meantime.

Wow, bastard does seem to be the word of the day here, doesn't it?

3. Oil's wealth that ends wealth.
Life and its community is the only real thing of value on this world.

It is criminal and insane to destroy and waste it when we know and can do better.

4. I can't decide if I'm angry, sad, frustrated, confused or just in shock over the events of the last
few months. I think that it must be a combination of all of those things along with the knowledge that this is going to be beyond anything we've seen before when it comes to devastation.

I'm still holding out a tiny sliver of hope that I'm wrong, but I don't see any chance that this nightmare will end until many years from now.

Geez..they still have oil in Alaska that hasn't been removed and now this BP BS is going on.

6. I'm angry now.
I was angry when Obama appointed Salazar to head interior.

I was angry when Obama refused to keep the Asian carp out of the Great Lakes.

Now this.

Why am I not surprised?
