Who made some nasty responses to a thread on Mrs. Obama is no longer with us.

I think we should be more welcoming to freepers. After all, they have so much to learn here. With Bush's numbers slipping it must be obvious that some of the backwash is no longer buying his lies. In the case of "Doh" he needs quite a bit of education. It's difficult to change your beliefs. It has to happen at a comfortable rate.

There are of course those who would say that freepers are born scumbags who are too fucking stupid to learn anything, even the most simple concepts, new. And even the smartest ones would rather be kicked out of their Mom's basement than think anything bad about George W Bush, but I'm still something of an idealist on that.

OK. Let's examine the "quality" behind a guy who:


Was raised from age 11 by rich, white grandparents and still managed to get into hard drugs.


Between earning his BS degree at Columbia and Harvard law school (both bargain priced Ivy League Schools for people with the right connections), he worked a grand total of one year in the private sector, a company controlled by the Economist group.

Managed to get into law school based on who his sperm donor was although, to be fair, this may have been how he got into Columbia.

To his credit, did very well, graduated and edited the law school review.

Upon graduation, was a "community activist" and lecturer at the University of Chicago until his election as state legislator in 1996 to represent a district composed of mainly guilty white academics, students, and government employees.

Held all these jobs until 2004 when his opponent for the U.S. Senate race was suddenly blackmailed to withdraw when Obama's media friends threatened to go public with dirt from a previous life which, even if true, was considerably less than what Obama has bragged about in his own life.

Accordingly, cruised to an easy election win with no effort other than a few speeches.

For those with short memories, Obama's forced-out opponent in the 2004 senate contest had a far more compelling resume-- earned his wealth through brains and hard work, left that career to teach in black inner city Chicago, a considerably rougher clientele than the guilty white liberals which Obama taught at the University of Chicago and had hundreds of his current and former students recruited to campaign for him against the big-eared man of privilege. But in the end, he took the media blackmail bait rather than subject his wife, family and ex-wife to a rehash of a previous life.

Obama's entire rise too power has been just a little too convenient to attribute to his own hard work and luck.
