It seems to me that if the Greens are ever going to have an opening for a big impact, the utter destruction of the Gulf Of Mexico is it.

Problem is so many in the areas directly affected have been so brainwashed by the culture of oil that they wouldn't accept the natural extension of the Green platform.

Of course, that's not an answer to your question, I realize. I have no idea, just that no one is running in any race I can vote in.

If Greens really want to make an impact, they are going to have to start running for city, county, and state offices on a larger scale. I know they do that to some extent in some places, but running in Oregon where there's already a lot of support for those ideas doesn't help much. They're going to have to get active in the proverbial lion's den if they eventually intend to grow to make a national impact.

And as you say, *right now* would be a perfect time to do it.

Seems most of the questions down there are about Windows stuff, that I just don't know about. I try to help when I can though.
