After making a donation, I wondered why BP isn't funding the RESCUE OF MANATEES.

As a graduation present, my 6th grader, who hopes to one day be a marine biologist, chose to have me make a donation of help rescue manatees from the oily waters caused by the BP/Halliburton/Transocean oil disaster. After making the donation, I started wondering why our government isn't forcing BP et al to pay for this and other conservation projects meant to save as many species as possible from the mess they made.

Anyway since it hasn't happened yet and time is in the essence, please consider helping this organization in their efforts:
