It's God's Will that Man destroys all animal life!
I realized this while reading about some Evangelicals pointing out that many natural disasters are God's vengeance because of homosexual behavior.

Then I remembered this:

A 1999 review by researcher Bruce Bagemihl shows that homosexual behavior has been observed in close to 1500 species, ranging from primates to gut worms, and is well documented for 500 of them. Animal sexual behavior takes many different forms, even within the same species. The motivations for and implications of these behaviors have yet to be fully understood, since most species have yet to be fully studied.<3> According to Bagemihl, "the animal kingdom <does> it with much greater sexual diversity — including homosexual, bisexual and nonreproductive sex — than the scientific community and society at large have previously been willing to accept." Current research indicates that various forms of same-sex sexual behavior are found throughout the animal kingdom. A new review made in 2009 of existing research showed that same-sex behavior is a nearly universal phenomenon in the animal kingdom, common across species.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexual_behavior_in_animals

Since homosexual, bisexual and nonreproductive sex is an abomination, then obviously God intends to punish the animal kingdom. Now, it all makes sense. God is using Man to accomplish His Will. Man-made Climate Change, the Oil leaks, and all man-made pollution is part of God's Plan to Punish the animal kingdom for it's foul ways.

So, therefore, we should continue to "Drill, Baby, Drill" if we wish to be instruments of God's Will.

And, BTW, :sarcasm:

6. Yeah, you'd think more people would remember that part of it.
Too many people interpret everything the way they want to.

3. Why doesn't God get off his lazy ass and destroy all animal life himself?

Just what kind of ineffective vengeful omnipotent God are people worshiping these days?

7. Obviously, a false one.
The God they describe certainly doesn't sound like the God I worship.

10. I claim no equality with "God" and it doesn't require that to recognize it when I see it. nt

13. THAT, my dear patrice, is the difference between "us" and "them".
We actually think about what we believe and why we believe it. They follow blindly anyone who tells them what they want to hear.

16. I'm beginning to think more and more that there are 2 kinds of people in the world: god-intoxicated
blasphemers who cannot/will not abide other possibilities and those who seek reality wherever they find it.

18. That pretty much has been my experience.
Although I have also seen some that were "too busy" to concern themselves and so just went along with whatever they had been told all their lives.

selling the tab to the christian tax payers. I want to see the tea baggers swallow this cup of crap.
