99-ers are forgotten
A 99-er is a long-term unemployed who has exhausted all their benefits. Millions of poeple will now fall off the unemployment rolls ...out of sight... while Washington proclaims how unemployment is declining and how great the economy is.

Nancy Pelosi says "NO WAY" for a Tier-5.

Orin Hatch of Utah says those collecting Unemployment should be required to take a drug test.

Is there any chance for a Tier-5?

they are not addicts - they need jobs! So that idiot thinks that a person who can't find is job must be addicted to drugs because the jobs are so bountiful. Stupid f***er.

8. wtf?!
you are anything but progressive. It's none of your damn business what they spend their money on. That's right. Those folks have been paying into the system the entire time they were working so they should be able to spend THEIR money on whatever they need - withpout some regressive idiot looking over their shoulders.

4. If anyone hears anything about a Tier-5.. I would appreciate hearing about it.
I have sent out thousands of resumes and gone to dozens of interviews (for mostly mimimum wage jobs).

Dont know what to do next?

Nancy Pelosi says I need to get a job...I wish she would tell me what to do different?

5. Can we give Orin a breathalyzer test each morning?
Seriously, the guy would be in the ranks of the unemployed in a heartbeat.

7. So absurd...its fuckn insurance
It doesn't matter if you are a coke head who shoot heroin in the morning. If you pay your employment insurance premiums while working, you deserve payout when you make a valid claim. This is the equivalent of health insurers making up excuses for rescission after a claim is filed, after all premiums were collected.
