Not to derail the thread, but sometimes as a feminist, the thinly velied sexism in the rhetoric against Palin makes me grind my teeth. You don't have to agree with a person's views to think that she shouldn't be sexually objectified.

By the same token, just because someone disagrees with Palin, and calls her out on her bs doesn't make it sexism.

I've not been here long, but since the time I joined I can tell you that it seems-at least to me-that they don't tolerate sexual objectifying/sexism. Not just the mods but DU members both male and female.

BTW: My Verizon wireless internet service is 1000% better this year than last. Why? This year they fessed up that there is an external antenna for their wireless modem. The total cost to me was $30. Why didn't they tell me that last year in all those hours-long calls to tech services because of the spotty service?
