A few weeks ago a segment on Thom's show had Travis Burton. He is a Democrat running for the Minnesota Senate in D-35. Minnesota has a political matching fund once you get to a threshold level. The show brought in donors from around the USA, but Travis is still shy about $1,250.00. Can we finish the job started on Thom's show? If 125 of us kick in just $10 Travis will get an additional $10,000. I waited until after the first of the month to post this. I know phone calls and emails requesting donations for candidates were coming in for everybody. Travis has a week to raise the funds. His Act Blue account won't be active until Thursday, so you have to donate through his site.

The DU cut it down to $600 that Travis needs to raise by Sunday to get the match fund from the State of Mn. Can we help get this D elected in a blue state?

2. Fundraising help

Hi Omaha Steve-

I was wondering if you could help get the word out for me
about fundraising or if you have any advice as to how to use
this website in the best way to fundraise.  I need $300 then I
receive $4,500 in public subsidy.  Was hoping to qualify
today.  I had to take on a new job recently and I work at
night so fundraiser is tough at the moment and today is the
