Talk-show host Elisabeth Hasselbeck took another swipe at her nemesis Kathy Griffin on ‘The View‘ this morning, calling the comedian ’scum.’

Hasselbeck got in a huff because Griffin referred to a politician’s daughters as “prostitutes” on her show.

In a scene from last week’s episode of ‘Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List,’ Griffin made a joke about Republican Senator Scott Brown of Massachusetts, saying he “has two daughters that are prostitutes.”...

Griffin’s “joke” referred to a statement Brown made during his Senate victory speech earlier this year in which he quipped that his daughters Ayla and Arianna were “available.”

Trust me. This is not going to end well for the twit.

1. Hasselbeck will never even know she's been dissed

Kathy Griffin will rhetorically jab her with a stiletto so sharp and so well-placed, that Elisabeth won't even know it until someone explains it to her about six times, probably involving sketches, possibly using hand puppets. Then she'll pretend she got it until about three days later when she really will get it, and be mad all over again.

14. You can't regulate comedy

It's supposed the be outrageous. That's why it's comedy. You have to pick your battles. Take issue with the people who say mean things who aren't professed comedians. If it's said in a comedic context or setting by a known comedian, there should be a little give there.

Let's not pretend what comedians say in a comedic setting has more weight than what a politician says in a political setting. It doesn't.

to call attention to the increase in cervical cancer, and the importance of a yearly Pap smear for all women. She was also draped during the minutes-long test.

Then again, it's okay if women continue to die from cervical cancer. We wouldn't want to call attention to a quick, easy diagnostic test on a television show watched by over a million people weekly.

But calling any woman a cheap whore just because you don't like her? Whoa. That's a problem. Throwing gender-loaded insults and stereotypes around to belittle and insult people is never cool.

Would you throw racially-loaded insults and stereotypes around too? Would you find that equally appropriate? How about using religion? Or ethnicity? Or is it only woman that you insult this way?

Even better - she claimed to have called Erin Andrews to apologize. The phone call never happened.

In other words, she's a liar. Andrews just re-upped with ESPN; they're featuring her on "Good Morning America" too. If I were Hasselbeck, I'd be pretty damn nervous right now.

IMHO, YMMV, but her days on "The View" are numbered. I'll bet the producers would LOVE to give Andrews her chair (and her job).
