LETTER: Palin would have fixed spill quickly
Lots of funny replies to this one.

snip

To the editor:

Sarah Palin would have had the Gulf oil spill under control two months ago. The well would have been back in production, the environment cleaned up, punishment meted out, the fisherman back to fishing and tourists back to touristin'.

1. What, would she flip open her skull
and have all the oilfall into that vast void?

7. I don't really know if I should be laughing . . .
. . . at the thought of anyone taking Sarah Palin seriously. I find that kind of frightening for real, possibly because there are SO many. :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared:

21. We can only HOPE it's a short-lived phenomenon
The spoutings of the principals are fun to mock, but the numbers of their followers--the Palinistas, the dittoheads, the Beckistanians, etc.--are disturbing.

We seem to be going through a phase when many seem to have lost their grip on sanity and reality. It's pretty amazing that politics, ideology and bigotry can make so many people so demented.

I think we'll survive. But I can't help wondering if history won't label this "the Loony Era".

. . . then this opinion is an hour past "delusional steaming pile".

But that goes without saying, doesn't it?

8. The BP owned Alaska pipeline started leaking in March 2006
It continues to have leaking issues. The most recent in May of 2010. Looks like the half term governor couldn't handle a much smaller leak in her home state.

9. This comment made me laugh out loud.
whywhywhy writes:

I once read that a radical group was promoting a voter literacy test prior to casting a ballot. After reading this letter I can see some validity in that.

You were right there are a lot of funny replies to this letter.

12. A literacy test won't help us.
We need to require a sanity test.
