Here's some photos I took of the July 31st Sea Shepherd event in Riverside, CA. The surprise announcement came from the actress Michelle Rodriguez who was there. She announced that she is joining Sea Shepherd and will be going on their next campaign to Antarctic Ocean.

1. Someone from Japan flagged my videos as spam. LOL

This person: http://www.youtube.com/user/ednakano2010 who has no videos uploaded to youtube and from Japan flagged my Sea Shepherd videos as spam shortly after I uploaded them.

2. That's pretty scummy of them to do that...

It reminds me of one 'side' of a volatile topic over at HuffPo. I noticed that every post by anyone with a different view to them is flagged by them as abuse. It's really feeble how some try to stifle any opposition to their worldview...

My husband and I are big Sea Shepherd fans. We, as you probably did, worked like hell to ensure the moratorium was kept in place. Of course Japan's exposed corruption didn't hurt the cause. Just wish we could get that vile IWC decision, allowing Greenland to slaughter 10 humpbacks, overthrown. It's not for subsistence. They are going to serve the whales up at fancy hotels.

We watch it every week with the family. My conservative husband is a big fan, too. At first he watched in order to laugh at them but now he's on their side! Just goes to show that media has it's place and the message is getting out.

Can't wait to see Michelle on next season!
