My Salute to the VA in Phoenix Arizona by SargeUNN

I am having a very serious problem with my right arm and shoulder. I have lost at least 60% use of my arm and have been in horrible pain for weeks. I finally caved in and went to the VA here in Phoenix. I have had some very bad experiences at the VAs in Mississippi so I was really dreading going to the VA but to my surprise I was given fast and respectable service. My problem is not known as yet but I was given an appointment (sadly for Sept. 21 but you know how the budget of VA was cut during the Bush years) and given medicine that has help ease my pain. My emergency room treatment took about 3 hours and that included the time for x-rays. I was impressed with the way they helped and how they seemed to have a real interest in doing their job well with the Veteran being the center of attention.

due to the very limited income I am forced to be on and the horrible pain I have been going through I am often depressed. I wish I had my internet at my place but as soon as I can get my budget where I can I will be back online - SargeUNN
