I have been in the high risk pool in my state for a while. But our state had this all set up a while back.

3. I had to apply twice

I didn't know if I had the right paperwork, so I called their number and asked and they said yes. So I sent it in, and it got rejected due to the wrong paperwork. Dammit. So I reapplied with the proper paperwork. Hopefully that goes through.

I have no idea what the premiums will be. I am in my early 30s and looking for catastrophic coverage. So I am hoping $100-200/month, but I really have no idea what they'll charge.

4. We're still waiting for the application

We had to e-mail to get it.

I'm not feeling much hope right now; we've seen the premiums, and it's equivalent to another primary mortgage per month for us.
