2. Gulf states treat immigrants horribly .

I know in the UAE (used to live there as a kid ) Foreigners outnumber citizens 5 to 1. Yet they can never get citizenship , nor can their children or grandchildren born on UAE soil.

5. So I wiwkiuped Ramadan and found out is a month of fasting and doing good
deeds so what does this have to do with abusing domestic servants. Me, of little religious faith, am discovering the more I read about the Muslim religion, the less I really want to know about it. Feel the same way about Christianity, too.

4. as long as there are millions and millions of desperately poor willing to work
for very low wages and oppressive conditions that still pay two to five times as much as they could possibly earn in their home countries where domestics are also frequently treated abusively - these things will continue.

I know of a lot of horror stories about abusive treatment of domestics in the Gulf States and I also know that there are literally millions of people from countries like India, Nepal, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh who are desperate to get those jobs. "Those that are dependent shall be exploited."
