Problem is this kind of stuff and the military we have is basically worthless against an "enemy" who knows the territory like the back of his hand because he lives there and can pick our guys off one at a time using a Coke can as a bomb and a Craftsman garage door opener to detonate it. Can't win against that with the military we have built to fight another nonexistent superpower.

That's why we can't win. It was a fools errand right from the beginning.
