Republicans certain they will vote swamp Democrats. Nationally 2/3 of Republicans say they are certain they will vote while only half of Democrats say the same thing. This means that even after Angle has been exposed as a total nut, she still has the advantage in the senate race against Reid.

In my view, this is the problem with the Democratic soft sell and lack of fire in the belly. They have passion, we don't. Assuming nothing shocking new comes out about Angle, the charges against her, that she is crazy, will be old news by election day and the voters will be back to their fantasies about the GOP being a panacea for their problems. And when an incumbent is below 50% that is a huge warning sign historically. Reid is at 43% and Angle at 42%. This is nuts. Given the clear choice between Reid and Nut Lady, Reid's numbers mean that the 57% of the state who are NOT backing him are:

INSANE.

And across the country there are so many other races where the goopers have nominated someone viewed as much less of a nut than Angle. So I think we're in trouble.

1. I expect Harry to pull this one out. Angle could be one
of the many Republicans whose public support collapses correspondent to their exposure to voters.

The more voters took the measure of Rudy Giuliani, for example, the faster they reached for the barf bags.

I have a feeling Sharon Angle is about to get whomped in this Nevada Senate race.

4. Agreed. The more people learn about dear Sharon, the more they
dislike, or at the very least are afraid of her.

5. Hi, napi21.
Nice to see you on the boards tonight.

Yep -- I hope Angle holds a lot more press conferences -- those seem to result in an uptick for Harry.

6. Any time she opens her mouth anywhere but on FOX it's an uptick
for Harry.

The other thing I'm hoping for, if Harry wins of course, is that this tough election convices him that he's been WAY TOO QUIET! I don't care how meek, mild, and calm a person is, they HAVE a tough, even nasty side. I hope Harry finds his! He needs t recongize that his constitutents WANT that Harry the boxer they keep hearing about!

7. True. I'd like to see Harry haul off and
start busting a few Puke jaws.

3. Reid has had really high negatives for several years now
So it's less about Angle being crazy than it is she's not Harry Reid. The little dynasty business with his son is also not helping.

8. Meanwhile, Rand Paul is ahead in Kentucky. That's pretty shocking.

He's ahead by 8 points.

We are about to have Angle and Paul in the Senate.

9. That sounds bad. The republicans are fired up now and the country is going nuts in a lot of places.

10. Isn't Reid sitting on his money while Angle spent most of hers?
