45-47 Park Place in New York City is NOT in Ground Zero. The planes did not hit there they hit 2 blocks lower in NYC. Sure in terms of a dartboard it is the first circle outside of the bullseye area but it is NOT the bullseye.

This is nothing more than an act of racism on the part of Right Wing pundits and Faux News. If they call it "Ground Zero Mosque" then they can create an aura of outrage of "How dare they build a Mosque in NYC" mentality. The land was available and the Mosque that will be built there will create plenty of good construction jobs for those hired to help build this building (and at 15 stories tall this will be a good job generator).

The Mosque has absolutely NOTHING to do with Ground Zero other than the concept that the Mosque will be nearby.

I think there are better names we can call this building than "Ground Zero Mosque". I mean geez, it's no better than "partial-birth abortion" another fictious word made-up by right-wing nutjobs to try and scare people.
