1. Is there any explanation of that?
What's the tradeoff for the family of four earning 85,000? If the "Bush" child tax credits expire and the 10% tax bracket goes away, their taxes should go up about $1,800. The table implies that they will instead go down by $800. What accounts for the $2,600 difference? Are there proposed tax cuts that I haven't heard about? The discrepancy is almost as high for the one earner family of four making $50k.

I've only seen a proposal that extends the existing tax cuts for those making under a certain limit. This table claims that the cuts would go even farther (another $800 below that level).

2. No one cares about people making under $150,000..
Apparently especially those who are making under $150,000 because they all expect to making in the millions next year, or maybe the year after that, or maybe they'll win the lottery.
