How in the heck have we been subverted into thinking anything other than that?

The facts are that somewhere around 10% of people are gay and have been since the beginning of time. In college my English lit prof. delighted in pissing off the young repubes in the class by educating them on the historical figures and giants of literature who were gay. You should have seen their stunned faces! Now that was funny.

Fact meets talking points: facts always win.

As a hetero male I've never been against gays, probably because my parents were so bigoted against them and all minorities. Rebellion against hate is always a good thing.
