Apparently, when West Corp. added more than 500 jobs in May, that wasn't enough.

On Wednesday the Omaha-based communications giant said it will add 300 more positions to its call centers to serve a new healthcare client and increased demand from other existing clients.

The positions are a mix of part-time and full-time, with wages up to $10 per hour, plus benefits like training and 401-K options. West will hold a job fair at its Human Resources office at 11810 Nicholas Street on Tuesday, Aug. 10.

Candidates should have some customer service work history and communications and computer skills. Applicants will be subject to a background check.

During May hiring round, West ended up hiring more than the 500 it announced. Overall this summer, the company has brought on around 1,000 employees.
