I was listening to Mike Newcomb

in Phx today KPHX and I will never listen or call his show again. Three hours spent on one topic. This is not the first time. They don't know more than one topic at one time. I am done with them for good. Guess NPR is on my list if I cannot watch Big Ed. Mike Newcomb is a poor excuse for a progressive radio host.

1. Newcomb doesn't do research

beyond reading the Arizona Republic paper and what someone else does. He once didn't know Dan Saban was running against Joe Arpaio and that was just a few weeks before the election. He told the caller, "I like Joe, Joe is a good guy." The caller asked him about Saban (Saban had spent thousands on advertising with the station and his spots actually ran during Newcomb's show) but Newcomb said Oh is he running? Newcomb is in it for his ego and why he is a pitiful excuse to run progressive talk.
