mentioned anything about Ted Olson being the lawyer that argued and won the Prop 8 case?

That has to have their little pointy heads exploding.

1. From what I've seen, they're more focused on...
...the supposed "gayness" of the judge and their outrage that he can overrule millions of voters. There seems to be lots of ignorance there about the Constitution and basic civics (many want to vote him out in his next election, LOL!).

5. Didn't a well known democratic lawyer represent Karl Rove when he was
in trouble? I think so. I think lawyers will take any case. That was my impression at the time. I would doubt Olson has changed his stripes.

AND, he was talking sense on Rachel Maddow!!!!

Calling civil rights a conservative and liberal issue that should unite us!!!!

Goddamn it, part of Hell froze over tonight.

There's pork in the trees.

I cannot wrap my head around the fact that I would willingly stand the bastard to a drink.

6. Saw one pretty funny thread over there. Ted Olson is dead to them now.

Samples:

Ted Olson is a disgrace.

The reason for marriage is protection of the procreative unit. It’s such a fundamental, self-evident fact that there is no need to provide “experts.”

Kennedy. It all is going to come down to Justice Kennedy. I'm not hopeful.

It would have been nice if Kennedy would have applied those same libertarian leanings when deciding Kelo. Of course, he didn't.

It is a California Constitutional amendment. How can it be overturned? If it is, then the state constitution means nothing. For the only standard becomes the one the unaccountable judges say it is.

Theodore Olson: off the rails in a big way.

----

And on and on. I'm really impressed with the poster who thinks judges shouldn't rule on constitutional matters. That's the whole point, moran!
