I love marriage...

Now I am so happy that I feel marriage will soon be a real possibility for me and my lover of 4 years.

I say to him...

"Honey we're gonna be married soon!!"

He says "WE'RE not getting married. I don't want to get married."

"But honey...WE ARE gonna get married." I say. As I wrap my arms around him.

He smiles...and says..."You're so cute. Maybe we will. Someday..."

3. Personally, I think marriage is over rated.
and I'm one that did the "till death do we part" thing. Don't get me wrong, I loved my husband. But there were a few times we seriously considered calling it quits. Being married made it harder to just walk away when things got rough. Then when he passed, I found I didn't know who I was any longer. My whole life was work, him and our son. I guess one would say that part was my fault. But over the years I find myself wondering if I would ever want to give that much of myself to someone again?

Good luck, I wish you all the happiness marriage has to give.

4. I hope so...
My husband and I were together 17 years before we were legally able to get married.
