6. I don't see how he can go up for re-election next year and say he's a moderate
I just hope the Dems recruit a good candidate this time, not one who will act like the election is in the bag and go on vacation.

21. Khazei or Capuano would be great
I was a Khazei volunteer but I'd be ecstatic to vote for either him over the Playgirl Centerfold of the Month.

9. Hey Mass
Remember when you voted Scott in to send a "message" about how mad you were at Democrats? You sent one all right, one that nearly kept us from putting a student of Thurgood Marshall in the Supreme Court.

10. Hey DonCoquixote
Remember when the Democratic candidate for Senate didn't bother to campaign?

The "sending Democrats a message" meme was BS -- she just didn't show up.

13. Exactly.
Brown's victory was a statement on the utter lack of campaigning skills shown by Martha Coakley (didn't she go on vacation during the campaign?), not on the Democratic leadership in Washington. But the M$M would love for us to believe the latter.

And acted indignant when it was suggested she go out and talk to voters.

And she called Curt Schilling a Yankees fan.

Mike Capuano is running unopposed in the primary and the general and he has made campaign appearances.

*facepalm*

14. He's going to burn in 2012.
Massachusetts voters are not going to like him anymore, no matter how much the Boston Globe and the Herald try to prop him up.

15. Brown is a lame duck. Massachusetts usually only gets fooled once
but rarely twice.

And if this was about him not voting for Kagan - nothing pisses off folks from Massachusetts more than not supporting one of your own.

17. Are you feeling unloved by your Rep?
I know how you feel. Ben Nelson still claims to be a Democrat.

... sigh...

Misery really does love company.

Of course they would be dicks on this vote.

Brown, though, made a very bad decision today.

For those who thought Palin was a stone cold lock for the "Sultan of Stupidity", we now see a new contender enter the fray!
