Nancy Pelosi has really pissed off the ReTHUGS
Crazy Bachmann calls the bill to pay teachers, police, firefighters etc a government worker bail out. GO tell that to the police in your district crazy lady.

They're also upset that they have been called back. Apparently they forgot Tom Delay's call on Palm Sunday for Terry Schiavo.

Suck it up ReTHUGS. Come back and vote or suck it up.

1. All the teachers, police and firemen should be reminded of this next time Bachman runs.

When Schwartzen-idiot tried that stunt here in California, his "initiative" went down in flames.

9. Dems need billboards and bumper stickers
Boehner says teachers are Special interests
Bachmann says salaries for police, firemen and teachers are government worker bailouts.

What is her fucking salary???

Bail out the teachers and fire Bachmann.
Pay Teachers' salaries, salaries for police and firemen or pay Bachmann - you decide.

This could be fun.

3. Republicans don't like the idea of more funding for government employees
But they also don't like the idea of their house burning down, criminals not getting apprehended or their kids sitting in classrooms with 45 other kids.

Which one will win?

12. Psssssssssst

http://wonkroom.thinkprogress.org/2010/08/05/boehner-special-interest/
<snip>
Yesterday, the Senate finally approved $26 billion in funding to bolster state budgets, including $10 billion meant to prevent massive teacher layoffs. The Senate has been grappling with this funding for months, but two Republicans senators — Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME) and Olympia Snowe (R-ME) — voted to move forward once the bill was fully paid for with spending offsets.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has announced that she will interrupt the House’s August recess in order to hold a session to pass the bill, instead of waiting to pass it in September. But House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) slammed Pelosi’s decision to call the House back into session, calling the funding a “payoff to union bosses and liberal special interests“:

Spread the word.

22. I love the way they have seized on Pelosi and Reid as their arch-villains.
It would be hard to find two less likely individuals to hate and despise with a searing white-hot passion. A grandmother and a Mormon. Ooga booga.

The crippling fear that conservatives have of virtually everything about modern America will eventually weaken them into irrelevance, if we're lucky.

I think that the current republican party is the single worst thing to happen to America in my lifetime. (I'm 60.) They are also by far the biggest threat to our ability to continue as a nation. It reminds me of that other time that the same awful people broke our country in two....

25. Yep, big bad Nancy and scary Harry, lol
The extremists have taken over the repub party and I think it is slowing becoming clear to more and more Americans. I don't think the repubs are going to win nearly as much as they think they will in November.

13. Repug TV ads in TN during this primary season have been so slurring when referring to Nancy, one can
almost hear the seething but unspoken "slime-ball" moniker. Hopefully, she will often kick the Repug 8th Congressional District winner in the proverbial political co-jones (Sarah's term) during the next Congress. :P

he cries about fireman's pensions and doesn't bat an eye at Wall Street CEOs who drove their respective companies into a ditch getting 20 million dollar golden parachutes.

I honestly don't know why anyone who isn't among the most wealthy 10% of the nation would vote Republican. They've been waging war against the poor and the middle class for ages.

21. The ads need to be very simple
If you don't support teachers, police and firemen, then you don't support your community.
If teachers are special interests (Boehner) then what is Boehner?

23. Ha!
They're lucky their campaign-...season recess wasn't cancelled entirely to force them to address the issues facing our country, after all their partisan obstructionism. Personally, I'd make them stay there until they pass legislation on things like jobs and the 9/11 responders
