"This decision could redefine the word marriage"
So says Wendy Wright of "Concerned Women for America" on Hardball.

So I checked and Merriam-Webster already has "redefined" marriage:

1 a (1) : the state of being united to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law (2) : the state of being united to a person of the SAME SEX in a relationship like that of a traditional marriage <same-sex marriage> b : the mutual relation of married persons : wedlock c : the institution whereby individuals are joined in a marriage
2 : an act of marrying or the rite by which the married status is effected; especially : the wedding ceremony and attendant festivities or formalities
3 : an intimate or close union <the marriage of painting and poetry — J. T. Shawcross>

Matthews really asked some good questions.

7. Did they invent concern trolls?
I grew up in a neighborhood full of them. We couldn't get by with anything!

2. I've always wanted to make a bumper sticker that says:
My spouse is not your fucking business.

9. Exactly
For people who don't want evil government to interfere in their personal lives, they sure like to stick their noses into other people's lives. I yelled at the TV screens numerous times. She insulted me as a single parent (sorry no FATHER in our household)), my well-adjusted grown children, and all the friends I've had who chose a less conventional lifestyle.

I've never seen this bigot before and hope I never seen her again.

5. Everything but what it actually is
Marriage: the consensual promotion of adult unrelated life partners to first degree relative status with all the privileges and obligations arising from that status.

6. the way i have been dealing with this is to ask the ranting coworkers since
gays are all ready getting married in other states and country's, and gay marriage will destroy marriage, tell me how has this hurt your CURRENT mirage?
What is this now your second or third marriage ?

Not sure if you spelled it that way on purpose...
