BTW it is a community center - like a YMCA for crying out loud

I remember when the RNC announced that NYC was going to be the site of their convention to re-elected America I'm sorry I meant George W. Bush.

Big city. Media center. Okay.

Then we saw what they did with it. It was like watching people having a celebration on graves. OH GLORY US!! they said. It was meant clearly to cement the God-flag-Bush trilogy in the public's mind. And it worked. Bush was seen as God and country and a vote against W was a vote against AMERICA - you love your country don't you? you aren't going to VOTE AGAINST YOUR COUNTRY are you???

Now one of the talking points is about how Islam builds mosques on top of great victories. I have no idea if that is true but considering the sources saying it, I doubt it. I would research it but they flood the internet with every talking point that a google search turns into frustration unless you got 12 pages in. The 2004 Republican convention was exactly the same thing that they now accuse the collective Islam of doing - Classic projection.

In 2004 they openly celebrated their greatest "victory" ever. It was, and still is, the only thing that Bush can hang his hat on (thanks to fawning media coverage) and their presumptive trump card for everything... until they lost an election and now voting against and openly hoping for failure (Limbaugh) of YOUR COUNTRY is now the patriotic thing to do.

1. Did some one post it here, or where did I see it
they built a Mosque at the Pentagon and there was no protest. I guess since republicans think they own 9/11, but don't want to help the real heroes of that day, New York is more visible for them to rant their miserable little prejudices on.

5. Have you heard about the Jewish Museum of Tolerance being built on top of a Muslim
cemetery in Jerusalem?

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/feb/10/jewish-museum-tolerance-muslim-cemetery

A group of Palestinians descended from 15 of Jerusalem's oldest Arab families lodged a protest with the UN today in a fresh effort to prevent the construction of a "Museum of Tolerance" on the site of an ancient Muslim cemetery.
