I can't help but question the priorities of people mad over Gibbs
or other petty issues. Don't we have more important things to worry about?

1. I think healthcare, wars, the economy, GLBT rights, the environment
Public education, jobs, outsourcing, women's choice, and all those things aren't petty. You do get that that is what Gibbs REALLY put down yesterday, right?

2. The fact that some in our WH regard the best of American values with scorn isn't important?

3. Yes. All those people the administration calls 'retarded,' 'stupid,'
'drug-addled,' 'irrelevant,' 'whiners,' and such should just shut the fuck up and get with the union-busting, war-mongering, torturing, assassinating, wall-street-enriching program. Whiny motherfuckers.

4. But to worry about the other things..
...would trivialize all that manufactured outrage. Gotta bolster it up in some seemingly legitimate manner, dontcha know?. :sarcasm:

Did you see the convoluted out of cnotext, pretend to misunderstand and reinterpret, thread about the Canadian health care comment Gibbs made. Talk about taking it out of context and turning it into some feeding frenzy? That is one prime example of where some would prefer to spend their energy. Not one but different that Palin's "Death Panel" diversions and lies.

8. The only people Obama has voting for him IS the left.
The right was never there and the middle has gone and Gibbs wants to dis the last guys who will vote for Obama by stating Obama doesn't agree with the left anyway? How stupid is that. Clueless.

If Obama doesn't even share the ambitions of the left we need a new candidate because we are wasting our time. Obama has just outed himself as a placeholder of the status quo.

9. Perhaps you should question the
priorities of the party.

10. I understand it. If your activism is carried out mostly over the Internet
then your prime means of influence is your words. If, through these words, you can make the administration feels that it owes you something to assuage your anger over a percieved slight, you might be able to get something you want solely through your Internet posts. It is thought that this strategy has no cost to it but I would debate that.

12. I can't believe some people are actually defending Gibbs
And it is odd how they all happen to be the most arch Obama supporters on the forum. I haven't seen one die hard Obama supporter disagree with what Gibbs said. It is like they are programmed to agree with whatever comes out of the Obama administration, no matter what. Pretty pathetic IMHO.
