So how do people here feel about the Democratic Majority in the House?
We know the burden the Democrats are under in the Senate. No longer can anything pass by simple majority.. However in the House that is not the case. the House has passed a lot of Bills that are what some could call extremely Liberal but they can not go forward because of the problems in the Senate. If we EVER want any decent bills to ever pass again we must have a super majority in the Senate. That is where all of our resources must go.. Even if we lose twenty or so seats in the House we can still pass good bills. It is the Senate where all good Legislation goes to die...The House has been wonderful over the past several years but without loyal Democrats in the Senate we can't do squat....

1. They did pass a public option and energy bill, no?
If you ask me, that's a ton better than Obama and the Senate.

6. I'll take the Dem-controlled house over the Senate any day
They have balls. Unlike Mr. Wimpy (aka Harry Reid), who wouldn't know a backbone if he saw it on wikipedia.

2. I feel that it would be good to retain that majority and add
to it. We can do that by working to support Democratic candidates between now and November.

3. they've been good, but they should start calling in their favors
tell Obama, we could have killed your health reform but we went along with it. Now give us the Employee Free Choice Act in return.
