Jurors Send Note To Judge Saying They Cannot Agree On All Counts

CHICAGO (CBS) ― The jury in the Rod Blagojevich corruption trial has told the judge they cannot reach a unanimous verdict on all counts. It is not clear if they have a verdict on some counts.

Judge James Zagel has advised them to continue deliberating. Zagel says the jurors are allowed to let the court know if they reached a verdict on some counts and not others.

In their note to the judge, the jury said it had deliberated without rancor, but could not reach a unanimous decision on all counts, and were seeking guidance.

The jury indicated that they plan to go home for the day shortly, and the judge is inclined to let them do that.
