12. Where do people get this stuff?
People who don't vote for Obama have MUCH MORE to lose under a Republican Congress than the people they don't vote for if they lose.

20. FWIW, I'm still voting straight D on the local and national representative ticket
And with any luck, I'll find a Dem, whether it comes out of the current Administration or not, that I can actually feel good about voting for (like I truly did in 2008 for Obama)

Until then, I'm agnostic on 2012. I've yet to gain anything from a personal or political standpoint from this WH except disappointment.

they are a much bigger problem than Obama.

I feel like they are getting a free pass when they are the ones watering down the legislation, not Obama.

39. The GOP did NOT make Robert Gibbs decide to go out and insult Democratic voters.
AND Gibbs doubled down and stood by his insults today. This is on him.

Yesterday was a day the House should have been able to hold a BIG presser celebrating the passage of the jobs' bill and showing how they are working for the American people. And Gibbs decides the priority is to get the WH insults of the left on record. I'm starting to think he wants to lose the House.

And they're Repukes.

Not that I'd bet on most Republicans doing so. But, as a lifelong Democrat, it's really kind of embarrassing to me that a long time Bush Crime Family lawyer and a possible Bush cousin/Poppy Bush appointee are to the Left of the President that I helped elect on the issue of equal rights. :evilfrown:

22. Well...
I think anyone with half a brain will vote for the democrats even if they aren't 100% happy with the way things are going. I mean look at the alternative. If republicans take over congress because the left stays home and won't vote because they are mad at Gibbs, they won't see a damned thing done for at least the next two years! Republicans will be tying to impeach the president, voting NO on anything that would help the country get back on track, and trying to repeal anything that hurts their corporate buddies! They will take this country into a real depression, is that what all those who are pissed off right now want? If so then they really need a reality check!

Nobody is 100% pleased with everything that Obama and his administration has done, but it's a hell of a lot better than what we would have gotten with a McCain Palin administration! I think a lot of right wing trolls are keeping up the anti Obama posts here on DU, and doing a pretty good job of dividing the boards and getting people all worked up. When election time comes smart people will remember it's a choice between getting something done, even if it's not everything they want to see done, and going back to the same old bullshit we had when republicans were in charge when Clinton's problems with Monica dominated congress. If you think that was a mess just wait till the racist assholes start going after president Obama! I will be a three ring circus and nothing will come of it, and nothing will get done for the people! If you want a "real" depression, stay home and don't vote. If you want to get things done, anything at all done, then go out and vote!
