Gibb's statement might be the opening salvo in the Obama Admin taking out SS & other programs
It could be argued that the statements by Robert Gibbs about the professional left are the opening salvo in a war that the Obama Admin plans to make on traditional Democrats over the next two years. The fact that Gibbs has not softened his comments nor has he apologized means to me that he was "tasked" with this assignment by the Obama Admin. One must ask why.

I believe that the Obama people are about to assist in the dismantling of Social Security and other cornerstone policies of Liberal Democrats for the last 70 years. It seems obvious that the Obama Admin have as their strategy to portray any Dem opposition to the wholesale dismantling of the New Deal as extremists.

1. I think Obama will see a march on Washington
if the Democrats go forward on dismantling social security.

I HOPE we see a march on DC in that case. I'll be there. I have fucking had it with the out-of-touch, in the pocket of corporate fucks political class.

The plus side of this, of course, is that with unemployment so high, lots of people have the time, if not the money, to travel. Buses are cheap. Tents are cheap.

For the political class, life is cheap.

2. Just how exactly does the "Admin" convince Congress to stick their genitalia on the third rail?
What would be the purpose?

What is the motivation?

Gibbs is sick of the constant bitching by well-financed and for-profit "bloggers". Why is this so difficult to understand?

3. Doubtful. The profiteers and corporate welfare leeches are doing fine with the status quo
Heck, look at the $75 million oil-spill liability cap. It's still on the books.
