Bristol Palin, Levi Johnston Agree on Custody
Hopefully this will end some of the circus atmosphere and allow some semblence of normality.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) -- Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston have reached a custody agreement for their toddler son, Tripp.

The 19-year-old daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin earlier this month called off her re-engagement to the 20-year-old Johnston.

The lawyer adds that Johnston gets visitation on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Van Flein says Johnston will pay child support based on anticipated earnings of $72,000 per year.

1. $72 K a year for a sort of good looking high school drop out..
Of course the down side is that he's connected to that wacky family for the rest of his life:(

3. Men's rights movement definitely needed in this country
I think Levi Johnston should petition the court for full custody of his child. Bristol has about 5 strikes against the possibility of her being a fit parent. I feel sorry for her but that is no reason to destroy the lives of both Levi and his child. Step up to the plate, Mr. Johnston, take charge.

7. Really?
What if Levi doesn't WANT full custody? Did that ever occur to you? And please, I'd love to see your list of Bristol's alleged '5 strikes' against her being a fit parent, and your explanation of how she's 'destroying' the lives of both Levi AND the child.

8. Regardless, a custody order without a single overnight stay with a parent is a shitty order.
Not least of which for the child.

11. I agree with that., but I would ask why it turned out that way.
Did Levi want overnight stays? I assume he had legal representation when this was all settled. If there was cause to believe that overnights with Levi were not in the best interest of the child, I assume that was brought up and ruled on. There were questions much earlier about the suitability of the child spending time at Levi's because he was living with his mother, who is a convicted drug dealer. Perhaps those concerns were not addressed to the satisfaction of the court. I don't think either you or I know the complete details of the agreement.

4. Levi got ripped off..
At 72,000 a year, now he'll have to go out and make money off his connections to the Palins. There shouldn't be any complaining from the hillbillies either.

That's what you get for having kids..

9. You know who I feel sorry for...
the kid.

He got himself a couple of total fuckwits for parents.

They're kids who shouldn't even have become parents in the first place.

This is what happens when RW fuckwits against birth control or abortion think that "just say no" is a swell option.

Babies are born who have idiots for parents.

sigh...

maybe now they'll just both go away to ruin their kid's life

:eyes:
