1. I disagree with Greenwald on both of them
I agree they're similar, but in both cases it requires thought, and requires credible people explaining it, to understand why we can't ban the mosque, and why the cases were dropped against the New Black Panthers. I heard about both of them first on right-wing radio, and if I had been a mindless radio listener, I would have found the right-wing propaganda convincing.

It was important for Bloomberg to support the project and explain why, and it was important for Fareed Zakaria to explain it, and it's extremely important for Obama to explain it. I'm so glad he is getting into it, he's going to change a lot of people's minds because they're going to think about it more.
