Dear Teabagger, When You Cheer State Workers Getting Laid Off, Please Do The Following
Reduce the value of your home by 10% for every teacher, firefighter, garbage collector, school admin etc. that gets laid off. You see, those state workers that are getting laid off are, rather were, potential buyers of your home. Now that they don't have any income or have far less income than before, they no longer will be able to buy your house at the price that you once hoped for. Unlike the Bush era when getting a mortgage was disconnected to one's income, today, getting a mortgage depends on one's income.

And, incomes are falling because unemployment is high. Unemployment is high because states are laying off workers. Thus, if your retirement strategy included selling your house at a certain price, then you will need to re-think your strategy because your home's value will drop due to state government lay offs.

That is all. Have a nice day.

vets, and people with mental illnesses out on the street increase, and are camping to survive in your towns and cities. Without the already diminished services, these people will have little, if any, resource.

Most likely, when your home is broken into, or your home is on fire, and no one comes to help you, you will still keep cheering as you continue to work against your own best interests.

2. ...and no chickenhawk whining when a desperate drunken vet breaks into your house
and steals your stuff so he can survive, because you did all you could -- as directed by your Chickenhawk Republicon Propaganda Pimps -- to make sure the vet got doodley squat from your federal and state governments.

3. When I look at pix of Teabaggers
I see that the majority are white and old enough to collect Social Security and Medicare.

I have been wondering when younger people who don't have a guaranteed government check and subsidized medical care were going to start asking why they have to subsidize these older people who are doing everything they can to hurt younger people.

I say this as one who collects social security and uses Medicare. Personally, I think we older folks should stop being so greedy and self-centered!

4. And remember when they get laid off that causes the tax base
to dry up. Then you loose, garbage collection. Lights, police protection and all that stuff. How damn stupid are they? How come they do not realize that people working and paying taxes is what keeps the services going. If you are working, and not paying taxes how can the city, the state, the whole damn US run.

I really think putting them in an area by themselves. Let them figure out how to pay for what services they get. What jobs they will have and how they will protect themselves. I bet they will come crawling back in three months.

5. i remember when you had to find a guy to pick up your garbage
or even before that you had to burn it in a barrel out back and then haul the ashes etc to a dump, yourself. I know because it was my chore when I was a kid. How about street sweepers and road repair and parking lots. Parking lots used to be a lot smaller. Like 5 cars at the grocery store.

8. The teabaggers are truly making the masses fight amongst themselves. Now the teachers, police,
firemen are the enemy. All so that rich people can make more money as wages are depressed.

10. Or at the very least
When they cheer about state workers being laid off they could stop bitching about problems that are caused by a lack of state workers.

Statements like "Layoffs at the state level? Woohoo! When is someone going to fix all these damn potholes?! I nearly lost my transmission to one yesterday!" are often spoken with nary a pause between the two ideas.
