Blago court news
A news program just announced that the federal judge permitted a jury request to review a transcript of one key witness. (There being so few of them called by the prosecution, despite promises to the contrary). They will be given the testimony of Deputy Gov. Bradley Tusk, a guy who on direct, said Blago was threatening Rahm Himself Emanual with holding up spending in his district, unless Rahm agreed to hold a fundraiser for Blago's re-election.

As I recall the reports, the cross-examination of Tusk was pretty devastating, and made Tusk and the prosecution rather offputting. put offing? Whatever.

My guess is that the jury is either hopelessly deadlocked, or uniform on a majority of the counts being NG, with their doing their best to find some scrap of evidence to find at least one count against Blago.

Day 13 is almost up, and given the length of Tusk's testimony and cross, it might be until tomorrow before the jury comes back.
