Could the circus over the Muslim community center all be a planned real estate grab?
Think about it. Property in that area of Manhattan is pretty pricey. If it gets too hot for the Sufis they may have to sell it and will probably have to take a huge loss. Does anyone doubt that some of the major funders of the campaign against the Muslim center are NYC area developers who want to buy the property for cheap and make a financial killing on it???
I was under the impression that all actual land in that area was owned by the city ,leased out,and governed by the Port Authority. Probably got some misinformation.
