I've seen people go into hissy fits and threaten to leave online discussion boards over topics involving paper vs plastic, sponge vs dishrag, breast feeding vs bottle feeding, and what to call adult bladder control products.

Some people get real nasty and personal over the smallest stuff.
Of course, that is part of the entertainment value of it. People like to see a good fight. People will pay good money to see a good fight.
