Denying 1st amendment rights for the community center in NYC

Denying 1st amendment rights for the community center in NYC
on the basis of religion is a slippery slope. Anyone in positions of government advocating for denial of those rights to US citizens should give up their position in government. The Constitution is crystal clear.

That's my statement and I plan to stay out of further discussions on whether it should be built or not built. I will not be sucked into that vortex anymore. I will however, continue to post against the Republicans and their continued wedge issues and character assassinations and their lies. I still will chastise elected Democratic Party officials that give in to the Republican hate campaign for political expediency or any other reasons.
