Have conservatives seemed especially cranky lately?

It's a theory, but I think it may be that we're running into some anniversaries of some landmark liberal policies.

Friday was the 75th anniversary of Social Security. I see on my Google homepage that this is the anniversary of the 19th Amendment, granting women the right to vote.

I'm sure there are other anniversaries of liberal policy coming up, too. It's gotta grind on the conservatives' minds.
