I tend to refrain from religious debates, since I was brought up a fundie and turned out gay. I have enough familial problems as it is.

Putting aside my feelings about how my rights have been trampled on for the last, oh, 40-odd years, including Obama (whom I will vote for again come hell or high water because the alternative is just too horrendous), how THE FUCK can people disagree with a Muslim/Islamic community center being built two blocks away from "Ground Zero"?

Guys, I lost a friend that day. But you know what she would say? "Let's fucking heal, and move on!" I KNOW IT.

This is such a non-issue, it only embarrasses us as a nation to see this fucking debate being played out. What the hell? I just don't get it.

Why the hell are libs/dems falling for this? God, sometimes I feel like the smartest person in the room watching this bullshit, it is what it is: BULLSHIT!

I'm so sick of DC and their stupid junk. I could spit nails.

PS: My cat died Monday. I had to put him to sleep. He didn't give a shit about Jews, Dems, Islam, repubs, catholics, whatever....he loved everybody as long as they were nice to him. Maybe we should learn from this.
