1. Let me know how you like it
Edited on Wed Aug-18-10 08:00 PM by nadinbrzezinski
been debating that or the PAD mostly due to all the damn ebook readers I got on the POD.

Oh and ONLY if I get a job teaching... otherwise not worth it.

2. I picked one up last week for my daughter to take on an extended trip
I found it a tad slow . I also had some difficulties in getting it on at one point and had to reset it. Not a problem just not something I expected in the first week of a new toy. The touch screen is no where near as responsive as an I-pad. All in all though I paid under 150 after the rebate and I like that it has the option to store music and browse. It won't replace the laptop on a long trip for me but it's handy never the less. It's heavier than a Kindle but it does more.

3. think firmware update.
I don't have it yet but I know that these things are rushed to market and then they'll send out fixes.
